- Hiring full-time paraprofessional Mon-Fri 7:30am- 3:45pm**
What You’ll Be Doing At Autism Care Partners ACP Early Intervention is looking for a Paraprofessional at Hempstead Charter School! Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with disabilities and children on the Autism Spectrum? Then come and join our team of dedicated professionals!
- Arrive on time and prepare for daily sessions
- Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions
- Complete the session notes immediately after the session
- Be responsive to the needs and requests of students, their families, and their supervisor
- Attend Professional Development Training, as required
- Be goal-oriented and maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work
- The ability to physically lift up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications - A high school diploma or equivalent; a college student pursuing a degree in one of the following fields is preferred: Early Childhood Education/ Special Education, Psychology, Behavioral Science, Human Services, Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA)
- Experience working with children with developmental delays or in an early childhood setting preferred
- Ability to work closely with elementary school aged children
- Applicants with personal-related experience are encouraged to apply
