Position: ( IBMi/iSeries/AS400) Enterprise Architect with Salesforce Integration

Duartion: 6+ months

Location: Paramus NJ (Hybrid once in 1 week)

Note : We need someone who has experience in migrating from legacy technologies to SalesForce this what client is migrating from IBM series to Salesforce

About the Role :

Customer is embarking on a strategic modernization journey to transition away from its legacy IBMi/iSeries/AS400 systems.

As part of this initiative, we are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to work closely with client stakeholders to scope and define the upcoming RFP for modernization.

This role is critical in shaping the future-state architecture and ensuring alignment with business goals, scalability, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with Customer leadership and technical teams to understand current architecture and business processes
• Define the scope, objectives, and technical requirements for the modernization RFP
• Assess existing IBMi-based systems and identify migration pathways
• Recommend future-state architecture including cloud, integration, and data strategies
• Evaluate and propose modernization tools, platforms, and vendors
• Document architectural decisions, risks, and mitigation strategies
• Ensure alignment with regulatory, security, and operational standards
• Provide thought leadership and best practices in enterprise modernization

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with a focus on legacy modernization
• Deep understanding of IBMi/iSeries/AS400 systems and RPG-based applications
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern enterprise stacks
• Strong knowledge of integration strategies involving Salesforce, DB2/400
• Proven experience in scoping and drafting RFPs for large-scale transformation projects
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work onsite in the US and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in environmental services or regulated industries
• Certifications in TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architecture, or similar frameworks
• Experience with Salesforce implementations as target systems in modernization projects
