Are you looking for a fast-paced and challenging position that will provide you with extremely valuable technology leadership experience, extensive variety, and frequent exposure to managers and staff in the Information Technology Branch? The Employment Development Department (EDD) is looking for a highly motivated and qualified individual to lead the Mainframe Technical Services group. The Information Technology Manager I is responsible for supporting EDD's mainframe CICS environment and other mainframe technologies. EDD's mainframe supports Unemployment Insurance, Disability Insurance, Paid Family Leave, Tax and Employer services for EDD and its customers.

Working Conditions

Visa Sponsorship

Statement of Qualifications Requirements

A Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is Required. The SOQ serves as documentation of each candidate’s ability to present information clearly and concisely in writing. 

The SOQ will be considered the first phase of the hiring process for this position. If your qualifications are competitive, you may be invited to an interview. The SOQ should be typed and not more than two pages in length, not less than 12-point font, single-spaced, with margins not less than one inch, including your first and last name at the top of the page, and must include a response to the statements below, including specific examples:
