Job Title: QA Engineer Automation & Reporting

Location: Remote, Work Location With-in the United States

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

• Analyze user requirements, design documents, and other documentation to develop detailed test cases.
• Create and execute automated functional and regression test cases against HTML, PDF, and Excel Reports.
• Report and document all issues, executed test cases, results, and detailed testing summaries.
• Perform SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data.
• Collaborate with the development team and customers to understand functionality under test, define and implement test case automation, and communicate results effectively.
• Execute performance and accessibility testing.
• Perform manual testing and data validation.
• The QA group supports and facilitates the implementation of all applications/projects in the Texas Education Agency.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong background testing complex web applications.
• Proficiency in testing across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Advanced knowledge of database systems and SQL.
• Experience with API, JSON, and XML.
• Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as WAPT Pro, JMeter, or similar.
• Experience testing reports (HTML, PDF, Excel).
• Experience in API testing (SOAP and REST).
• Familiarity with Zephyr Scale.
• Familiarity with JIRA.
