Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes Skills Required: General OR, Laparoscopic assisted cases, tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy, tracheostomy, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection open/LAP, hernia repair inguinal/umbilical, laparoscopic assisted procedures, anterior cervical fusion, cervical fusion, craniotomy, insertion of VP shunt, laminectomy/discectomy, lumbar fusion, kyphoplasty, closed/open reduction of fractures, bunionectomy, hallux vagus arthroplasty/arthrodesis, metatarsal surgery, aseptic technique, isolation precautions, laser safety, pressure ulcer prevention, radiation safety, sharps safety, specimen handling/labeling, universal protocol (time out) procedure Skills Preferred: Hybrid OR (preferred), gastric bypass, gastric sleeve, lap band, direct laryngoscopy, mastoidectomy/tympanoplasty/stapedectomy, radical neck dissection, septoplasty/rhinoplasty, mastectomy, thyroidectomy partial/total, Whipple, liver resection, abdominal hysterectomy, anterior/posterior repair, bilateral tubal ligation, cervical cerclage, dilation & curettage, laparoscopic assisted gynecological procedures, therapeutic abortion, vaginal hysterectomy, ALIF, XLIF, anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, arthroscopy, arthrotomy, carpal tunnel release, laminectomy/discectomy, laparoscopic assisted cases, spinal fusion, total knee replacement, total hip replacement, ankle fusion, wound care/dressing changes Certs Required: BCLS, CST JOB DETAILS: Target Ratios: 4-5 rooms on Saturdays, 3-4 on Sundays Shift: Sat/Sun/Weekday shift based on unit s needs DAYS (06:45-19:15) * If a holiday falls on a scheduled weekend shift, the traveler will be expected to work 36 hours can be offered. Will accept 16-17 week contracts.
